White volcanic rock coast on Milos carved into smooth gullies, arches and narrow inlets beside intensely blue water. Sarakiniko's landscape is the product of Milos's volcanic geology combined with long erosion by wind and sea. The sculpted pale rock has become one of the island's signature natural environments rather than a conventional sandy beach. The visit is strongest when you focus on white volcanic formations, narrow swimming inlet and cliff and sea viewpoints.
