Spectacular cave system on the Mani coast, visited partly by boat through flooded chambers. The caves formed over long geological periods in the limestone of Mani. Archaeological finds from nearby Alepotrypa document prehistoric occupation, while the flooded Vlychada cave became one of Greece's best-known show caves in the twentieth century. The visit is strongest when you focus on underground boat passage, stalactite chambers and mani coastal setting.
