A grand neo-Renaissance colonnade sheltering several mineral springs in the heart of Karlovy Vary. Built in the nineteenth century, the colonnade became one of the defining architectural spaces of Karlovy Vary’s European spa culture, now part of the Great Spa Towns of Europe UNESCO property. It is included because it adds a distinctive experience to a realistic Karlovy Vary or regional itinerary rather than acting as a filler stop.
