Old Man of Storr is worth allowing time for because it combines a distinctive landscape that can be understood through geology, land use and carefully chosen walking viewpoints. History

The Old Man of Storr is a prominent rock pinnacle created by large-scale ancient landslips on the Trotternish ridge. Its unusual geology has made the Storr one of Skye’s most recognisable landscapes.
