Nida Lighthouse is worth time for its its maritime role and elevated position within the Curonian Spit landscape. History

A lighthouse was established at Nida in the nineteenth century. The earlier tower was destroyed during the Second World War and a replacement was built after the war, continuing the site’s navigational function.
