Fanø gives travellers a concrete way to understand part of South Jutland & Wadden Sea. A Wadden Sea island opposite Esbjerg with broad beaches, dunes and maritime villages. A visit is built around North Sea beach, Nordby and Sønderho, Dunes and island cycling. The site has enough substance to justify planned time and is practical to combine with other places around Nordby, which makes it useful both for a first visit and for a more balanced Denmark journey.
