Karen Blixen Museum – Rungstedlund gives travellers a concrete way to understand part of North Zealand. The former home of writer Karen Blixen, preserving rooms, literary material and a garden beside the Øresund. A visit is built around Writer's rooms and objects, Literary exhibitions, Garden and bird sanctuary. The site has enough substance to justify planned time and is practical to combine with other places around Rungsted Kyst, which makes it useful both for a first visit and for a more balanced Denmark journey.

History
Blixen returned to Rungstedlund after years in Kenya and lived and wrote here until her death in 1962; the house later became a museum.
