Cape Greco offers one of the island’s clearest combinations of walking and coastal geology. Trails cross low scrub before reaching cliffs and open sea, and the landscape changes quickly between sheltered coves and exposed headlands. It is best treated as a wider park rather than a single viewpoint, with heat and wind influencing route choice. The stop works especially well when placed beside nearby sites from the same region, because the contrast in landscape, architecture or historical period makes the wider character of Cyprus easier to understand.

History
Cape Greco is managed as a national forest park and forms part of the south-eastern coastal landscape of Cyprus. Its ecology reflects dry Mediterranean scrub, limestone terrain and marine exposure.
