Snezhanka Peak is useful for understanding the broad form of the central Rhodopes after travelling through their enclosed valleys and villages. From the summit area, wooded ridges extend in many directions and the scale of the mountain system becomes easier to read. The site also shows how recreation and communications infrastructure have been inserted into the landscape. Access methods and visibility vary with season and weather, so current local conditions remain important.

History
Snezhanka became closely associated with the development of Pamporovo as a mountain resort during the 20th century. The summit and tower provide a broad overview of the central Rhodope relief.
