Sant Corneli i Sant Cebrià is closely woven into Ordino’s village fabric, making it a useful place to consider how parish churches functioned as long-lived community landmarks. Its medieval origins are important, but the present structure also reflects later rebuilding and decoration rather than a single untouched Romanesque phase. That complexity complements nearby Casa d’Areny-Plandolit. Together they show religious, domestic and civic aspects of a settlement that grew within a narrow northern valley while retaining a strong historic core.
