Domagnano is worthwhile for the perspective it gives on Mount Titano and for its archaeological associations. The castello sits on routes between the capital, Borgo Maggiore and the northern settlements, making it easy to include in a broader circuit. Its historic centre is modest, but the landscape helps explain why scattered communities developed around the dominant mountain.
