Port Hercule is the geographic centrepiece between Monaco-Ville and Monte-Carlo. Walking the quays reveals the steep urban amphitheatre around the harbour, with the palace on the Rock, the casino district above and dense modern development between them. Stade Louis II
Stade Louis II is an unusual stadium because it is integrated into the compact reclaimed district of Fontvieille rather than standing in a large open sports park.
