Parish Church of St Mary, Bendern
Bendern’s church hill is one of the Unterland’s most coherent historic settings. The parish church, cemetery and neighbouring old buildings occupy a small rise above the valley, with views towards the Rhine and surrounding mountains. Upper Castle Ruins, Schellenberg
The Upper Castle ruins provide a more archaeological castle experience than the restored strongholds at Vaduz and Balzers. Stone walls, gateways and the outline of defensive spaces remain open to the sky, allowing the medieval plan to be read directly in the landscape.
